Becoming Part of a Global Family
With its local roots and global structures, Diehl is successful on an international scale. Our Corporate Divisions operate in Europe, North and South America, in the Middle and Far East. Consider, for instance, Diehl Metall: The parent plant is based in R?thenbach in Franconia, further German locations are in Berlin, Teltow, Zehdenick and Hemer, and the Corporate Division is internationally represented in Besancon, Siauges-Sainte-Marie (France), Shenzhen and Wuxi (China), Pune (India), Sao Paulo (Brazil), and Meriden (United States of America).
The international Diehl Family has many more members though, located in Singapore, Mexico, Poland, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, Brazil, Denmark, Austria, the United Kingdom, Italy, Belgium and Hungary.
For Diehl it is a matter of course that all our trainees, experts and senior executives can become a part of this family if they wish. This is why most of the Trainee Programs include an assignment abroad, and the participants of our Potentials Groups are given an opportunity to gather experience in different regions.

One good personal example of how Diehl encourages gaining work experience abroad is Andrea Sorg. She was still in her Trainee Program when she took the chance offered by Diehl to see and explore new cultures by working at our Business Unit in Shenzhen (China). Today, she is CFO at Diehl Metering in France.
